The caption for this photo would be, “When I picture great teaching, I picture diversity”. This photo is taken of three young ladies who became great friends in our Summer Program. St. Mark Community Center’s Summer Program is designed to engage students in the areas of math and literacy. The program runs for six weeks every summer and works not only to prevent summer learning loss, but also provide a safe and educational experience for children in our community. The program is the oldest running summer program in our community and brings students from a variety of different backgrounds and experiences together to learn as one group. the results are truly amazing! We are blessed to have incredible students and families in our programming.
